A Fabulous Bandon Hotel
Oregon has some of the most beautiful coastline in the America. In fact, Oregon has over 400 miles of coastline that is a mix of sandy beaches, rocky beaches, tall cliffs and tidewaters. And all along the varying coastline are little towns and coastal villages whose main source of income is tourism. Towns like Cannon Beach, and Yachats, and Newport are just a few of the more popular destination spots for both local Oregonians and travelers through the state.
Our favorite town on the Oregon coast, however, is Bandon. We have been going to Bandon for holidays and vacations for over 10 years now and we almost feel like it is our home away from home. We know all the little restaurants and all the little curio shops. We know the owner of the old candy shop on main street and we know the waitresses at the Wheelhouse and they call us by name. It really is a very open and friendly town to visit.
When we first started going to Bandon, we stayed at many of the Bandon hotels and motels. Many are right near the beach or up on the cliffs overlooking Face Rock. And there are a few in town as well. But our favorite hotel in Bandon has become the Inn at Face Rock. This is a Best Western hotel that is locally owned at sits right off Beach Loop Road with just a short stroll to the beach. This hotel is one of the best in Bandon. The hotel is clean, spread out over a nice property and run by just a fabulous staff. It is a bit of a drive in town, but it is a very pretty drive. And we would rather be where we can see the ocean when we are staying in Bandon.
You can’t beat this great Bandon hotel the next time you visit.
