Then they tout their super acne treatment that will give you speedy results for your acne breakout. But the catch is that it is successful for “most” people, but not all people. Some people who try the products endure side effects or get allergic reactions. So it’s sometimes better to try proven acne home remedies that work better and have a higher success rate. They are almost always cheaper and never require a doctors prescription.
Here are a couple of home acne treatments that will get rid of your acne forever.
One popular home acne treatment is use a Q-Tip dipped in alcohol and use this on your face. will help take the sebum oil out of the pores, and kills most of the P-acnes causing the infection. Be sure you don’t use excess alcohol because it can result in light or heavy skin irritation.
If you are a person with oily skin, a good home remedy for acne is to use oatmeal masks on your face. The way you use this mask is by applying an oatmeal and water mix for 15-20 minutes twice per day for the best results. What will happen is that the mask will dry up removing excess sebum oil from hair follicles. When done, make sure to rinse your face with cold water.
You might want to try another home treatment that has been successful. It involves using honey and apples. This method uses grated apple, combined together with 4 teaspoons of honey. This mix will be the paste you use on the acne. Keep it there for around 10 minutes. Once done remove it and rinse your face with warm water. Do this two or three times a week for the best results.
