Hello Folks:
Back in the 80’s I had panic attacks for about a six year period. While I worked through that time, I came across a simple “mental shift” that made it possible for me to stop panic attacks.
I still had higher levels of anxiety than most people could live with, but I didn’t have to endure the panic attacks any longer. I had that part whipped.
As simplistic as it sounds, what allowed me to stop the panic attacks was that I quit fearing them. It took me six years to get there but, when I did,the panic attacks stopped.
It was a truly huge relief for me. I guess it would be for anybody who is stuck in what I call the “panic attack syndrome.”
The way I came to be unafraid of panic attacks, and thereby rid of them, was long and complicated. I can’t really remember everything that contributed to my being able to do it. A a result I can’t teach anyone how I did it in a way that would work.
That, and the fact that I am not a teacher.
