Sharp Solar Modules – Prices Are Coming Down Fast
Sharp Solar Modules in the past has been just too expensive to be practical. Coal generated power was for a time as much as 90% cheaper than solar energy.
But with the large investment in output capacity, linked with the global economic slowdown, costs on solar module panels have fallen anywhere from 10%-30% in the last 6 months.
This signifies that a lot of projects that were marginal before are now viable. And the movement seems to be gathering steam.
Prices on Sharp solar panels, for example, have come down 3 times since May, taking their price into the $4/watt range. Last year they were nearer to $5/watt.
