I gave my son the 8240XL shaver for his 16th birthday. I finally found the Philips Norelco 8240XL after 2 weeks of shopping online. I looked at the Panasonic ES8109S, and the 8060X models, very closely, too. In the end, I felt that I just had to be loyal to Norelco, as I had shaved with their shavers for years.
