Whenever I’m doing a lot of ripping and crosscutting with my saw, I generate a blizzard of airborne dust. So to prevent all of that sawdust from filling my shop and lungs, I made a small plywood box under my new cabinet and connected the box to my dust collector.
Now when I use my dust collector, unable to collect over 95% of the dust that is generated by my table saw. My shop is a heck of a lot cleaner and so too is my dust mask.
The dust box can be mounted to virtually any table saw, but at the moment mind is mounted to my DeWalt DW745, and I have made it so that I can move it with me wherever I go.
