Merit Solutions was established in 1996 by Anne-Marie Carroll and Jan Sturgess as a networked, HR consultancy business providing selection services to State Government and Local Government Departments.
Since that time it has expanded its target market to include Federal Public Service Departments and private sector clients.
Additionally Merit Solutions has expanded its product range to incorporate psychometric assessment for executive recruitment, recruiting services, organisational design, tailored role descriptions, customised reporting and training programs for job applicants and for selection panels.
Merit Solutions has worked with more than 5,000 selection panels over the past twelve years.
Merit Solutions is a unique network of HR Consultants, all with a strong background as senior managers and/or as human resource management professionals. The orgnanisation provides quality, professional HR services for executives and managers and offers the perfect complement to internal HR specialists.

Merit Solutions is moving into 2010 with a renewed vision and perspective and preparedness to leverage the expertise acquired over the 13 years of its existence.
A key focus for the future will be psychometric testing for a wide range of clients including the private sector together with increase training courses for job applicants, particularly those who are trying to win jobs in the public sector in Queensland. Also on the agenda is expansion of recruitment services.
