Stress Relief Meditation is a great way to reduce your stress levels that climb ever higher in our fast paced society not only from work but from all of our commitments and worries.
There are 3 main parts of meditation for stress relief:
Focus – This is where you shut out all of those nattering voiced and stressful thoughts in your head by emptying it of everything. This can be achieved by focusing your senses away from anything complex and stressful. Listening to your own breathing and watching a single simple object is a good way to focus all your thoughts on something simple to clear your head of clutter.
Relaxation – Too much focus can be stressful in its own right though! Another part of meditation and stress relief is to remain relaxed while doing this. Comfort while sitting as well as as a comfortable and interruption free environment will allow your body and mind to relax while you focus.
Detachment – This is the final stage where you can detach your thoughts from the stress ties that they have with the real world so your body is not producing stress hormones from these situations. A sense of detachment and even enlightenment can be felt and the stress melts away when you can detach your emotions, body and mind from each other so you can analyze them and not cause one to effect the other.
