Your main purpose for your marketing campaigns is to get your advertising noticed and to be remembered.

Your advertising can be as straight or twisted as you desire it to be - as long as it is both suitable and relevant to your target audience.

People have their favorites amongst everything and advertiesements are no different. People take their favorite advertisements seriously and remember them without needing to be prompted -this is because the advertising has reached them and sparked a response by offered them a solution to a problem they can recognize, or  offering a time saving or an enjoyable experience.

Some examples of memorable slogans that got noticed and remembered are:

  • Maxwell House - “Good to the Last Drop”
  • M & Ms - “Melt in Your Mouth Not Your Hands”
  • Wheaties - “Breakfast of Champions”
  • Jewelery  stores - “Diamonds are forever…..”

This is the type of advertising you are aiming for- memorable and offers a solution for something relevant to your target audience. Follow up your slogan or heading with your slogan in it with some great copy and you have the recipe for writing advertising that gets results!
