New Year’s Resolutions

Fall is here again! The leaves are changing colors, the temperatures are dropping, Halloween is past and the holiday season is upon us. Many of us slow down from our summertime activities, combined with many friend and family holiday activities, we may find ourselves starting the new year, well let’s say in not as good of shape as we prefer. As the holiday season quickly heads our way, I’m planning my New Year’s Resolutions ahead of time. Planning, our New Year’s Resolutions ahead of time is a great way to ensure we stick with it in 2009!
2009 New Year’s Resolutions will come in many shapes and forms. Some of us may want to shed a few pounds that we’ve gained from holiday feasts, we may desire to start an exercise regiment, some will want to finally quit smoking, and stick with it this time. With a recession eminent, managing debt, saving money, getting a better job, or further educating ourselves will certainly be in our best interest for a better 2009. In so doing, we can reduce our overall stress at home and in the work place, and feel better about ourselves overall. These are all achievable goals if we think and plan ahead.
Instead of waiting until New Year’s Eve to decide our resolutions, let’s plan ahead this holiday season and have an action plan! The internet is full of helpful resources for planning out our New Year’s Resolutions. In order to be successful in 2009, we have to begin thinking now about what goals we will set for ourselves, and how we will go about achieving them. We can succeed at anything we put our minds to.
Safe and Happy Holidays to all!
