The basic per minute rate is 25 cents a minute. The Core plan is 99 cents a day and that gives you unlimited calling to other Verizon numbers. Straight Talk does not really have a Yearly plan but you could stack 12 monthly cards. The $30 per month cards would cost $360 per year. The minutes will not stack, you will only be able to use 1000 units per month or you would start using the next months service. For My Money the Best Yearly Cell Phone Plan is the the Tracfone prepay $200 3,000 minute (with DMFL) plan. This is only offered from Tracfone.com. The minutes roll over and you pay 6.6 cents per minute and $16.66 per month.
The $100 per year Tracfone plan is a pretty good deal also but the minutes are more expensive at 12.5 cents.
Net10 prepaid wireless yearly minutes are ten cents each and your yearly charge will be $200.
The T-Mobile Yearly Plan is simple. You buy the $100 unit card and your service will stay active for up to 12 months as long as you do not run out of units. The minutes will cost 10 cents.
The Best Prepaid Yearly Cell Plan from Tracfone gives you a lot of flexibility. If you do not use all of your minutes they will roll over if you keep your service active. If you have a lot of minutes left over you can purchase $20 phone cards that will give you three months of service. If you run out of units you can always add minute cards and pay between 6.6 cents and 17 cents a minute with DMFL.

I don’t understand why anyone would buy the T-Mobile pay per day plan which costs $31 per month and then you still have to pay 10cents per minute that’s so expensive when you compare it to Straight Talk’s $30 per month plan which gives 1000 minutes, 1000 texts or MMS’ and 30mb of data; when you calculate the price per minute you are paying 2cents per minute, 1cent per text and the data is free and 411 calls are also unlimited and free. I don’t mind paying $30 per month knowing that I’ll never actually get to 1000 minutes but I like to be able to use my phone and call my friends when I want. I don’t have a land line so it’s really not that expensive.
I would say Straight Talk is my favorite from the above comparison. Several reasons for this really, the most important being the network quality. It runs on the nationwide, award-winning Verizon network and both coverage and call quality is not something you have to worry about if you use this plan. Second is the price, which at $30 for 1000 minutes, 1000 texts and 30mb of data is simply the best option available for all cell users whose usage falls in the 200 minute to 1000 minute range.
Straight Talk also offers unlimited 411 calls on both plans – this is something that most other carriers charge up to $2 per call for!
So Straight Talk definitely gets my vote.
I have to agree with everyone else. Straight Talk is the best in my book. The unlimited plan is just perfect for me. That and I have service everywhere I go.
