Instep Single Jogging Stroller – A Review of the Instep Jog Stroller

I was lucky enough to get an Instep single jogging stroller as a gift, and I have really enjoyed it. Here, I will tell you the pros and cons of the Instep jog stroller, and what you can expect if you buy one.

I had to put my Instep single jogging stroller together myself, which I am happy to say, was not too difficult at all. One thing I had heard from a friend was that some people had problems with the front wheel being out of balance. I have not experienced this myself. If you do have trouble with this, it is most likely due to assembly issues, you can adjust it.

 Overall, I really love the Instep jog stroller. I asked for this because it was not as expensive as the top brands like Bob, but I really wanted all the features of a jogger. I find it to be high quality, it does really go over most any surface, and the ride for the kids is smooth. Mine is stationary in the front, which is preferred if you do run, but they come in swivel models also. There is lots of storage for my needs; I have an arm strap, a hand brake and a cup holder. I believe most models come with the 5 point harness, and it is a must if you will use it for rough surfaces. I even get compliments on the look.

Some of the things I am less satisfied with include the padding on the seat. I did buy an insert pillow, which was not made for Instep jog strollers, to make it more comfortable and it has helped. I do have the Instep Single Jogging Stroller with a fixed wheel, which is great for jogging and hiking, but a pain when I just want to go shopping. You need to pick up the front to get around and it’s harder to maneuver around lots of people. Lastly, it is bigger, even folded. I do believe that is the case with most joggers, I guess umbrella strollers are much better for trips to the mall.

Overall, the Instep single jogging stroller is a great stroller and I would buy it again. I don’t think anything would make me 100% happy, so I guess this is about as close as I will get. The price range really made it worthwhile, and the cons have been easy to live with. If you invest in an Instep Jog Stroller, you won’t be disappointed.
