Nothing makes a GREAT day in the field more than watching the dog that you put in hours of blood, sweat & tears to train, doing the job they were bred for! There’s a certain amount of pride knowing that you had something to do with how well the dog performs. Most people think Upland hunting is just about shooting birds, but to me, nothing is prettier than watching a Brittany on point or a yellow lab making a blind retrieve! Getting the birds is a bonus!

3 things you should know about Hunting Dogs:

1. They LOVE to hunt.
2. They’re extremely Loyal.
3. They make the best Family pets because of their easy natures and temperaments.
Did I also mentioned that they could be hard-headed and stubborn at home…But in the field…….They’re a different dog altogether!

They should be treating with respect and love and home too, I hate seeing a hunting dog in a cage all year long except for hunting season.
