Is there an absolute Cure For Morning Sickness?
Most pregnant women suffer from morning sickness i.e. the feeling of nausea and vomiting . These morning sicknesses begin from the first week of pregnancy itself and can continue right up to the sixteenth week (or later in some women).Is there an absolute cure for morning sickness?
In short, the answer is no since the cause of morning sickness is due to the changes, both chemical and hormonal, within a woman’s body during pregnancy. Most women claim that morning sickness can be brought on when exposed to strong odors as well as the consumption of certain foods. Below are some remedies and food which act as a cure for morning sickness.
- Ginger is reputably the most effective remedy for morning sickness. There are many ways it can be taken in – from tea, candy to lozenges, it helps as an instant cure for morning sickness.
- Lemon is also very effective so much so that just a taste or whiff of lemon is enough to stop symptoms of morning sickness.
- In all forms, mint is good at reining in morning sickness. This is largely due to their fragrance and flavour which help smooth and relax the body. This is especially true with peppermint and with most mint.
- Avoid spicy, fried and oily foods, which are difficult to digest. These foods will cause the stomach’s acid to reflux, causing nausea and stomache.
- Do not remain hungry when you are pregnant. Keep eating small meals throughout the day, instead of two heavy meals.
- Prepare a juice of lemon juice and the juice of mint juice. Drink this three to four times a day.
- Morning sickness is caused due to lowering of the blood sugar early in the morning when you wake up. To counteract this, have some carbs in the form of biscuits or bread when you wake up. You could even take it with mint tea tea.
