When it comes to six figure freelancers I definitely wish I was one of them. I’ve set a goal to do just that and I’ve also put together some resources to help you achieve that goal with me. One thing I know is that success in anything is simply plugging through and not giving up.
To become a six figure freelance writer, here is a list of things I’ll need to do.
- Get organized. In the past, this has not been my strong point. I need to be better at organizing aspects of my business such as my earnings and expenses as well as my writing submissions.
- Time management. Wasting time is not going to help me achieve my goals. Sure, some random surfing on the ‘net is okay – but if it takes up hours and hours this isn’t okay. When in business for myself, time really does equal money.
- Diversify. Think about all the ways I plan on bringing them income and work on it a little bit each day. For example, if one of my ways of getting paid is to work for clients, I may focus on bidding for projects each day even if I already have work.
- Track progress. I chose to track my progress on my squidoo lens. You could do it any way you want – on your blog, on your computer, you can start a lens like I did…
That should be enough to get you started. Remember that becoming one of those six figure freelancers is perfectly doable as long as you have discipline.
