There is so much to say about credit repair and yes, there is an easy way! So, where do you start? Well you need a copy of all three of your credit bureau reports. The reason you need all three is there will be some lines of credit on one that are not on the others.
Also, the credit bureaus do not report to each other, don’t forget that! By law, you are allowed a free copy once a year from each bureau. Start with that. Now, carefully review the first category – about you. Is your name spelled more than one way? Is your middle initial (if you have one) all the same? This area is where you can find other people accidentally mixed up with your report.
Now make a list from one bureau of all the lines of credit - name of creditor, maximum line of credit, monthly payment, number of lates in the last 2 years. Then compare to the other bureaus. Are they the same?

Personally, I’ve done this and I sure wish I had had an automated system way back then that would have done some of this for me.
