What I was surprised at was how simple it was.  It’s like making soup.  Except, its not ready on teh same day you start it.  Then again, soup doesn’t need yeast to finish it.

If you follow a simple home brew recipe, you’ll find some of the freshest, tastiest beer ever.  When you make it yourself, you don’t have any cheap ingredients, like rice or sugar.  Just water, barley, hops and yeast.
