The dog food recall really scared me, I’m sure among many others. The majority of dog foods on the shelves were recalled because Melamine was found in them. More than 150 brands were involved.

Melamine is used as fertilizer among other things, and is not labeled for human or animal consumption.  After the dog food recall and learning about where the melamine came from and how it made it into the food, I decided enough was enough.  I had to find alternatives to the “crap” that I had been serving my best friend.
